B. INSPIRED AND INSPIRING

B. Home began as a hobby and eventually turned into a business 12 years ago when friends continued to regularly request and recommend my design ideas and help. 

 

My desire is to emphasize that a home is meant to be lived in, loved. It should be personal; real; full of meaningful pieces, life, laughter, friends, family, animals and the beautiful mess that comes with it all.

 

I believe the design process should be enjoyable, not overwhelming, and that beautiful design and quality items don’t necessarily mean you have to spend a lot of money.  

 

B. Home works to create designs that are: 

▪ approachable and livable.

▪ inspired by nature, travel and history.

▪ collected and timeless – a mix of old and new; natural, quality materials.

▪ personal – we will create custom plans, using meaningful pieces you have to complement your unique style and lifestyle.

B. PRESENT

In my late 20s, my husband and I lived in London, England for three years. Every weekend we could, we travelled across England and Europe. English style is classic and collected, yet quirky and whimsical. That time in my life inspired me, exposed me to new ways of mixing patterns and colors, and has significantly impacted my design style. 

 

I love to mix the old and new in ways that are fun and unexpected. I don’t typically love a room that is “all new” or too perfectly matched. And I’ve never seen an English or French country house I didn’t want to move into almost immediately!

B. INTENTIONAL

We believe in living intentionally, making plans and making memories, and we are serious about and committed to helping others do the same.
